The Minnow Salmo D has a very particular pattern of movement. Because of the position of the ear, towards the lip, it produces very strong vibrations even if retrieved just under the surface of the water. The clear color contrasts with the very dark waters and makes it very easy to see. After the lure has been cast, it must be held still for a short time so that the bass draws near and checks the intruder. The following brief jerks of the rod make the bait wiggle as if it were a fish in serious difficulty. The black generally attacks in the first movement of the bait after the break.
