Robert Taszarek
- coach of the National Spinning Team, which has won all three first
places in May 2003 in Italy world Championship in Trout Fishing.
My favourite style of trout fishing in fast streams is fishing
downstream. You should remember that fish instinctively attack the lure
that suddenly appears in front of them. I will share my unfailing
method with you that greatly improves fishing downstream. for that
task, you will need the floating version of Hornet 4. Look for darker
places on the stream's bottom, usually located behind bigger rocks.
When trout is feeding it usually stays just there, just above the
bottom with its head upstream. We cast our lure 2-3 meters upstream and
wait untill it goes with a current to the edge of the hole, retrieving
only the excess of line. When the lure reaches this point you should
sink it rapidly by retrieving the line fast. Bites happen usually after
a few moves of the reel's crank.
