Hornet is one of the best lures in the World for fishing for trout downstream. It works excellently if led that way even in a fast current. The biggest specimens usually hide in hardly accessible places. While walking upstream, if you spot a promising fish hideout under the opposite bank, try this well-proven trick. Cast sinking Hornet 4 a little bit upstream from the hideout and let it sink. Retrieve the line just to keep the tension on the line, gently jerking with a rod tip in the same time. The current will form a curve from the line and will insert your lure where needed. Do not slow down nor speed up line retrieve, just try not to loose control over it. If you see the trout attacking do not rush with setting the hook. Wait until fish catches the lure and turns the head upstream. Then it is the best time to set the hook.
